   St. Louis Home Health is pleased to be working with you and your physician to help prepare you for surgery.  Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of care to optimize your recovery.

Prior to your surgery a Physical Therapist from St. Louis Home Health will contact you to arrange for an appointment.

In preparing for your surgery, the Therapist will assist in the following areas:

  • Education about surgery expectation
  • Instruction on prescribed exercise
  • Barrier Free Home Assessment
  • Assessment for need of medical equipment
  • Safety assessment

Individualized plans of care are designed with the assistance of your Physician.
